Micro-Wedding: An intimate, SoCal fête in Provençal style.

DESIGN NOTES
This intimate San Diego wedding called for an epic invitation at a micro-scale. The invitation piece featured a two-colour layout, with a blind-debossed floral border (illustrated with vintage line drawings) and dusty blue wording, mounted to a custom built folio shaped as an envelope. The folio was covered in a beautiful, white brocade bookcloth, with inserts slipped into a slim-line pocket, finished and wrapped with individually handmade cord and tassels.
The invitation style continued through Mackenzie and Vipul’s day-of stationery via miniature folio replicas housing guest escort cards, and their floral pattern repeating across boutonnieres, table numbers and signage. For their menus, we added the invitation’s border florals in a blind deboss on the main card, enclosing the piece inside a dusty blue letter-fold with calligraphy guest names in white ink.
