DESIGN NOTEs

Save The Date: A blind deboss mimicked the Malliouhana entrance as a background to the letterpress Save The Date. The card was then duplexed to a cane paper backer, pointing to the natural woven and rattan elements of the venue’s decor. The envelope liner featured a watercolour painting of the venue, beaches, and surrounds. On the back of the card a die cut, striped pocket held a small card with website information.

Invitation: Backed with wood, the invitation was letterpressed in a bright sea-blue ink, cut to fit within a custom gatefold enclosure. The outside flaps duplexed another deboss of the angled Malliouhana architecture, with a watercolour venue close-up, die cut pocket, and the suite’s ‘Details’ on the inside. Seafoam cardstock for the RSVP finished the suite, with the gatefold held closed with a seafoam monogram tag.

Day-of Stationery: Natural wood, stripes, seafoam, and sailor’s knots inspired E+B’s day-of stationery suite.
